Alastair McDonald is Chief Corporate Development Officer at Purus, focused on strategy, acquisitions, and corporate finance activities.
Alastair has 21 years' deal execution experience in Shipping, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Capital Markets. Before joining Purus, Alastair was Head of Corporate Finance & Strategic Development at GasLog Ltd, a leading global provider of marine LNG transportation, where he was also a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Prior to that, he was a Director in the Energy and Power Team at Rothschild, providing transaction advice globally across upstream, midstream, downstream, services and infrastructure sectors.
Alastair is a fellow of the Institute of Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds an MSci in Chemistry and Molecular Physics from the University of Nottingham.
