Job purpose
The Paralegal will provide support to the Legal & Compliance team across the Offshore Infrastructure and Gas sectors, as well as corporate functions. This role is essential to manage growing workloads, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure smooth handling of multiple concurrent matters and transactions. The Paralegal will have a key role alongside the Corporate Secretarial Manager and Legal Counsels in assisting the business, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role
- Provide company secretarial support for group companies.
- Support board and shareholder matters for JVs.
- Incorporation and deregistration of companies and changes in shareholders or directors where required.
- Handle KYC and due diligence reviews and requests from third parties.
- Manage document filings, maintain legal document databases, and support knowledge management initiatives.
- Prepare and arrange agreement / document execution.
- Handle legal operations and manage workflows.
- Support internal compliance programmes and risk management processes.
- Review and draft various agreements, legal documents, compliance manuals, policies, and procedures.
- Support dispute management processes.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research as required.
Skills & Knowledge
- 3 to 4 years’ experience as a corporate paralegal with law firms or in-house.
- Familiarity with corporate regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in corporate governance.
- Experience in dispute management.
- Solid understanding of contract law.
- Drafting and communication skills.
